A little bit about me; I’m a college student that can’t get enough of computers. I enjoy configuring servers and playing with computers. I also like to play PC games when I get the time.
I created this blog so that I can document things that I setup and go back to it as a reference. I also figure it is a good medium to share information with others that may need help configuring something that I have setup in the past. I would like to see this blog grow into something big, feel free to share links to it with others. I also want everything to be accurate, so if you see any inaccurate posts please leave a comment with the correction and I will update the post as soon as possible.
I like Linux a lot, it is pretty amazing how powerful free software can be if you are willing to spend the time to learn how to configure it. I am partial toward CentOS, but have used other distributions like Ubuntu, Debian, and OpenSUSE.
Servers whether Windows or Linux.
Virtualization; primarily Xen, but I play with Hyper-v sometimes too.
Microcontrollers; I enjoy programming, and when I can physically see some code I wrote turn on an LED or move a Servo its pretty awesome.
